Perfect for students who have never touched clay before and want to experience wheel thrown ceramics. The instructor will give a wheel throwing demonstration on the fundamentals of making a bowl form and then each student will have the opportunity to throw on the wheel and create a one-of-a-kind bowl. Student's will get to keep one piece from the class that will be trimmed, glazed, and fired by the Instructor.
Our classes are 8-week sessions with the first 6-weeks focusing on making work and the last 2-weeks focusing on glazing and firing the work. All firings are included in the class. Student's will need to purchase their own clay from the studio. We have a limited amount of studio tools to use. Students are encouraged to purchase their own tool kits for the class.
