About the Studio

Means Pottery Studio will be our production studio space, provide ceramic education, and community events in the town of Fruita. We encourage you to come get your hands muddy with us and sign up for a class or workshop!

A little bit about Ashtonn and Matthew:

We met in Beginning Hand Building class in the ceramics program at Colorado Mesa University in 2012. We dated all throughout college, spending most of our weekends together in the CMU ceramic studio and got married in a backyard summer wedding in 2016. We have continuously worked on developing our ceramic artwork, participating in exhibitions, teaching classes, traveling for workshops, and collecting studio equipment with the dream of someday opening a studio space. We moved to Fruita, CO, in 2022, and we are thrilled to see this dream become a reality!
