Perfect for students who have never touched clay before and want to experience wheel thrown ceramics. The instructor will give a wheel throwing demonstration on the fundamentals of making a bowl form and then each student will have the opportunity to throw on the wheel and create a one-of-a-kind bowl. Student's will get to keep one piece from the class that will be trimmed, glazed, and fired by the instructor.

We will have open studio hours outside of class for students to use to finish work that was produced during class time and continue work on their current projects.
We will have commercial clay and a studio mix available for purchase. We will have some studio tools available, but it is best to purchase your own tool kit.
Here is a suggest tool kit for student's to purchase. You can order it online or purchase locally at Sundown Clay Company.
